Account & Data Deletion

1. Open the Dan Hana app.
2. Tap Settings in the bottom tab.
3. Go to Account → Delete account.
4. Confirm the notice and authenticate with your password (or social sign-in).
5. Tap Delete — every record is erased immediately.

Time required: instant. You are signed out automatically. You can register again with the same email at any later time.

If you can't access the app, send us an email with the following.

For identity verification, please send from the email address you registered with. We will verify, delete all data within 7 business days, and reply to confirm completion.

• Account information (email, password hash, nickname, time zone)
• Social sign-in links (Apple / Google)
• All daily “one thing” entries, check-in records, and notes
• Reminder settings and APNs / FCM device tokens
• Weekly, monthly, and yearly AI letters
• Access logs and personally identifiable analytics events

The following limited records are retained for the periods required by law, then permanently deleted:

• E-commerce records (Korea): 5 years (where applicable)
• Payment and goods supply records (Korea): 5 years (where applicable)
• Sign-in logs (Korea, Protection of Communications Secrets Act): 3 months

• In-app deletion: instant
• Email request: up to 7 business days; typically completed within 1–2 days

• App Store / Google Play subscription — if you have an active paid subscription, cancel it separately under Apple ID → Subscriptions (iOS) or Play Store → Subscriptions (Android). Account deletion does not cancel subscriptions automatically.
• Revoke social sign-in — if you used Apple or Google sign-in:
  · Apple: Settings → [your name] → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → choose Dan Hana → Stop using Apple ID.
  · Google: Google account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps → choose Dan Hana → Remove access.
• Back up your entries — if you want to keep what you wrote, save screenshots before deletion. Recovery is not possible afterwards.
